How does CADD Connection support BIM?

 CADD Connection is uniquely suited to support BIM / VDC / IPD projects. Because of our long history of providing CAD services to multiple players in the A/E supply chain, we have a collaborative approach written into our business model.

We are not engineers, architects, GC's, MEP contractors, or project owners. We are highly skilled and experienced Computer Aided Design and IT professionals. Our mission in the BIM/VDC process is clear and simple.  We assist in building and maintaining accurate and clash free 3D-4D-5D virtual models in a collaborative environment. Period. We add unmatched level of independence, knowledge and flexibility to BIM processes especially as it relates to the MEP coordination in a VDC project.   In addition, our services allow BIM processes to be utilized on project outside of the traditional scope.  Owners, CMGC's and other stakeholders can implement BIM knowing that resources are available to deliver.

CADD Connection uses the proper support tools for virtual build projects. Our list of supported BIM related software is listed here. In addition, FTP, Goto Meeting, and Smart Boards are part of our standard service offerings. An auto notifying FTP server can be set up for each project if required. Other best of breed collaboration tools are always in the works.  Expect to go on soon are improved on-demand client services and document control.
